NEW RYE&LYE® COLLECTION

RYE&LYE® is a creative laboratory which offers a niche product. For each collection, the style department transports an idea, a sensation, or an image and transforms it into objects of design, known as eyewear.

Last year the leitmotif of the entire collection was Africa. In fact, in the following season, RYE&LYE® presented the women’s project KU-TUA in a collaboration with Alessandra Soresina, an extraordinary woman who lived for months in the savannah with lions. The most recent collection, which was created together with this journalist, photographer and biologist, was therefore inspired by the colours of Africa, the charred woods and sun burnt lands of this marvellous and fascinating continent. Out of this, RYE&LYE® created a very carefully studied, feminine collection, typical of the brand. 

This year, the RYE&LYE® universe moves into the world of free climbing. The protagonist is an exceptional personality who specialises in this activity: Maurizio Dall’Omo, best known as Icio, a real, highly experienced climber.

The strength of those who wear RYE&LYE® can be defined as "not normal power" because the project aims to focus on innovation. While the testimonials chosen, like Alessandra and Maurizio, are normal people, or protagonists of everyday life, at the same time they are special because of their way of being, the way they present themselves and live their own experiences. They are one-of-a-kind, extraordinary personalities, they are unique in the way they  interpret fashion, trends and elegance: strong identities who are stimulated by the culture of the past as well as being  fascinated by the essence of the future of the world which surrounds them, and able to express with authenticity the unique character of the RYE&LYE® product.

Icio has been involved in free climbing for many years, and has remained free, real and authentic, something few athletes manage to achieve in life.
