CLEARVISION INTRODUCES ITS LATEST INNOVATION IN PEDIATRIC EYEWEAR DILLI DALLI™ Eyewear with IntelliFlex™ Soft Touch

Launching at MIDO - A leading provider of pediatric eyewear for over 25 years, ClearVision Optical introduces its latest additions to the Dilli Dalli™ pediatric collection. Dilli Dalli with IntelliFlex™ Soft Touch is a one piece, highly flexible pediatric collection offering high performance and durability through its integration of advanced IntelliFlex technology and proprietary Soft Touch material.

Delivering safety, durability, and comfort in an affordable collection parents and eyecare professionals alike have come to trust, Dilli Dalli eyewear once again revolutionizes the world of pediatric eyewear with its IntelliFlex multi-action hinge technology combined with innovative Soft Touch material. This proprietary material, a specially designed thermoplastic co-polyester elastomer, provides the strength, flexibility and high performance of rubber, yet with a pleasant, “soft touch” feel.  Suitable for multi focal lenses, the one piece, lightweight design has no metal or separate moving parts, and therefore, no need for hinge screws. IntelliFlex Soft Touch’s unique multi action, flexible temple design acts like a spring hinge.

 
The collection’s standard optical “V” groove design, which is deeper than typical pediatric frames, eliminates the possibility of lenses popping out of Dilli Dalli with IntelliFlex Soft Touch models.  The frames are also designed with built up, flared nose pads to provide a superior, comfortable fit for very young children whose bridges are not yet fully developed. An adjustable nylon breakaway safety strap is available in 2 sizes and 2 colors each, ideal for very young children and those who need additional frame security.

A team of ClearVision product designers spent months consulting with pediatric optometrists, pediatricians, eyecare professionals and parents to determine critical features paramount to the design structure and precision fit.  The evolution of the pediatric marketplace was thoroughly examined in terms of both head shape and size, to better accommodate today’s patient.  

The recyclable Soft Touch material offers excellent flex fatigue, allowing frames to retain their shape after extended wear. It also resists tearing and abrasion, ideal for little patients who are getting acclimated to wearing glasses for the first time.  Meeting all CPSIA and Prop 65 standards for children’s products, Soft Touch poses no danger of toxicity if ingested.

Designed for eye sizes 36 to 44, Dilli Dalli with IntelliFlex Soft Touch launches with 4 unisex designs in flattering shapes including oval, rounded square, rectangle and wayfarer. Each model is available in 4 colors; a soft- to-vibrant color palette includes pink, blue, lilac, aqua and navy. 

Models include:

Cupcake: This round shape is available in softer hues (blue and lilac) for the smallest patient, as well as bolder, fashion colors like raspberry and aqua.

Gummy Bear: This oval shape comes in baby soft pink and blue colors, and bold navy and red. 

Cookie Dough: This rectangle eye shape is great for older little ones, and is available in four flattering colors including red, chocolate, navy and teal.   

Tutti Frutti: A fashionable, wayfarer eye shape that’s perfect for bigger little’uns! Available in stylish colors like aqua, rose,  navy and violet.
