Komono, the Belgian watches and eyewear brand globally known for its unique combination of fashion details and quality production, is pleased to introduce its Core and Crafted sunglasses collections for Spring/Summer 2017.

For its SS17 Core collection, Komono ventured into the unique North African landscape of Marrakech. Navigating the chaotic streets and majestic mountains, Komono absorbed the color palettes, textiles, architecture, landscapes and culture of The Red City and channeled them into classic Komono favorites as well as brand new styles and collections.

The Finley and the Hollis

Light to the touch but heavy in style, the Finley and the Hollis are two brand new additions to the popular Core Metal Series.

Finley’s metal front and temples are a geometric alliance of round and square. The clean, utilitarian metal aesthetic is bolstered by a simple black matte or silver boutique finish.

The Hollis is a metal frame that borrows harsh mechanical beauty and soft-edged forms from the Komono timepiece collection. Available in silver boutique and black matte, the Hollis is simultaneously imposing and refined.

The Medina Series

Fresh from the vibrant merchants of the Marrakech markets, the new Medina Series brings a subtle yet distinct embellishment to new and existing Komono frames. Inspired by the bustling North African medina markets, the Medina Series features a thin silver ring embedded between the frame and the lens.
