accord partenariat entre Intercast Europe te Gloryfy

INTERCAST EUROPE AND GLORYFY CONSOLIDATE PARTNERSHIP

Parma – March 2011 - Intercast Europe, the Parma-based exclusive manufacturer of the patented high performance NXT® lenses, and Gloryfy, a young, dynamic, fast-growing Austrian business known for its “Unbreakable” frames, have strengthen their collaboration at MIDO 2011.

During the past two years their synergy has become stronger and stronger thanks to a common vision based on three key words: technology, performance and innovation. At Mido 2011 Intercast has housed a special corner - including a display of frames, POP materials and a test station in its booth - dedicated to Gloryfy’s products. In addition, a representative of Oberalp, the Italian Distributor of Gloryfy products, has been at visitors disposal to show the incredible features of the “Unbreakable” frames.

“Our unique technology is setting new standards in the sunglasses and ski goggles sector”, says Gloryfy’s Managing Director Christoph Egger, “and the partnership with Intercast Europe is crucial to produce and offer an excellent product, in terms of lenses and frames material, to the market”. Thanks to its exceptional optical properties, the NXT® lens and frame technologies are widely recognized as the very best technology for solar filtration and with its outstanding mechanical features it is ideal also for the production of frames and frame components. Today Gloryfy offers sunglasses that are completely realized with the NXT® platform – both lenses and frames are produced from this exciting technology - and ski goggles featuring NXT® lenses.

Dedicated to athletes and sportsmen, each Unbreakable frame must be not only cool in design and colors but also extremely safe. The right equipment is vital in particularly challenging situations. In some sports, eyes can be exposed to extreme conditions and it’s necessary to be able to act and react within fractions of a second. This is why an excellent lens is fundamental. Thus, those who want to protect their eyes should be very careful when choosing the right sports sunglasses. Poor quality glasses can sometimes break causing injury to the eye. With Gloryfy eyewear, such risks can be ruled out.

On the lens side, optical quality and vision wellness together with lightweight and strength, are the features of excellence that add up to uncompromised comfort and protection and prove that NXT® lenses enhance the visual experience and the eye-performance of the wearer by controlling contrast, color and definition. At the core of every NXT® lens is Trivex® material, a next-generation polymer derived from chemistry originally developed for the US military which is the perfect balance of visual and physical performance, delivering incredible durability and protection along with astonishing optical clarity. Available also in prescription versions for those requiring corrective sunglasses, Gloryfy sunglasses feature NXT® Rx lenses and are the perfect choice for all prescriptions and configurations, representing the best synthesis of material technology and color engineering for ophthalmic sun lenses.

On the frame side, by using NXT® frame technology for temples, no splinters or other broken pieces can damage the eye, even when extreme force is applied. Built on the Trivex® material foundation, NXT® frames are virtually unbreakable, feature excellent memory effect and are resistant to many chemical agents. Thanks to its unique mechanical performance properties, NXT® frame technology is able to fulfill Gloryfy’s requirement for cool design and incredible safey.

Gloryfy sunglasses feature a wide range of different NXT® lens colors – including the Orange lens developed especially for Gloryfy – that focus not only on performance vision but also on aesthetic appeal which is particularly appreciated by skiers, freeriders and gravity sports athletes.
