nouvelle collecton de lunettes Stratos by Vanni 2009

logo_vanni

Les lunettes STRATOS,

Championnes en titre 2009.

La ligne Stratos a remporté le « Grand Prix Eyewear of the Year 2009 ».

nouvelle collection de lunettes meccano by vanni 2009

logo_vanni

«Meccano»

logo_ray

MIDO 2009: RYE&LYE IS HERE

MASCULINE EYEWEAR LINE FOR THE MAN WITH A STRONG, ASSERTIVE PERSONALITY

The creative team at Immagine Eyewear breathed life into Rye&Lye -- a design synthesis between past and future -- where design, perfection and Italian inspiration come together to form a new style, a new way of seeing, interpreting and creating design objects.

Rye&Lye embodies and interprets the concept of Future Retro, redesigning products that bear the stylistic DNA of the past but, at the same time -- thanks to new interpretations and technological applications – are boldly projected into the future.

The Rye&Lye design mix originates in shapes from the past but with present-day proportions and interpretations. This mating of  the styles and symbols of the ‘60s with the use of advanced technology and innovative materials produces a very unique design expression with an extremely bold personality.

The Rye&Lye collection draws inspiration from Bolidism, a stylistic movement that brings original and accentuated dynamism to shapes derived in part from futuristic influences and American streamlining, but also from prior research into the organic forms and architectural styles of the ’30s, and from the world of comics.

Out of the Rye&Lye project come eyewear designs with an eye to the shapes of the ‘60s and ‘70s -- favored by Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy, and Steve Mc Queen -- that have been updated through the use of innovative, high-performance materials, like carbon fiber and Kevlar. Also totally today are the unique pairings of materials chosen for each frame: wood or aluminum combined with rubber, or steel paired with leather.

For the eyewear the market, Rye&Lye represents a new, all-Italian expression in which creativity joins forces with technology in a design synthesis between past and future, dedicated to the sophisticated wearer, one who makes mature choices, and is a player in the trendsetting arena.

Rye&Lye is driven by a force of its own – its concept is contemporary and its language is international. This brand was born to be a citizen of the world.

nouvelle collection de lunettes Zoobug 2009

logo_zoobug

Award-winning children’s eyewear specialist Zoobug received a very positive reception for the 2nd Generation Flexibug collection during Mido this weekend. Each model in the 28 piece optical and sunglass collection for five to twelve year olds features a special temple design made from TR90, a unique memory-plastic that is not only extremely flexible but also ultra light and strong.  As well as ensuring high levels of comfort with a special rubberised temple coating, designer Dr Julie Diem Le has added new fashion-forward design elements featuring great colour proposals and clever eye shapes.

“The feedback received at Mido was excellent. The Italian market is particularly difficult to please but this collection captured their imagination and we are delighted to have secured formal distribution throughout the country,” said Dr Julie Diem Le after the exhibition. “The new frame styles in our 2nd Generation Flexibug collection offer exciting choices for that very-difficult-to-please tweens sector.  Our designs are bold and contemporary but with a retro twist to suit the style and fashion taste of today’s youth.  It also offers a point of differentiation for the retailer who is looking for something special in order to stand out and be different from the competition.”

Confirming the success of the brand further afield, Zoobug’s My First Zoobug collection is now being sold in the new Outdoor Fun kid’s room in Harrods (Fourth Floor), the UK’s leading department store. Zoobug frames have also been selected for duty-free sales on the airline Virgin.

“Since winning the Silmo d’Or last October in Paris, we have seen an increase in business both within the optical sector and through other significant distribution channels. Our latest nomination in the Optical Product of the Year category, Optician Awards 2009, UK, the finalists of which will be announced at Optrafair, is yet another honour for the My First Zoobug collection, that allows us to further consolidate our reputation as the UK’s leading specialist in innovative, quality eyewear for kids.”

Mimi_47dZoobug_stand_in_Harrods

Zoobug was set up in 2006 by ophthalmologist Dr Julie Diem Le, who wanted to create a new concept in children’s sunglasses offering high levels of protection from the sun as well as qualities such as comfort and wearability. Zoobugs are compliant with international standards for safe levels of UV protection including the British standard BS EN 1836:2005.

Zoobugs have been an instant success, meeting the market’s need for a sunglass collection for children offering ultra-protective, sun-shielding eyewear that is extremely fashionable and fun to wear. Following this success, Zoobug launched its optical ranges for children in May 2008. Each optical frame has been designed to offer superior levels of comfort. The frames feature cute temple motifs and come in flattering shapes and colours, giving kids the opportunity to be proud of their glasses!

In October 2008, Zoobug won the Silmo d’Or award in the Children’s Category at the annual optical exhibition in Paris. This award is one of the most prestigious international industry accolades for the optical sector, awarded each year in 16 categories. The award recognises creativity, innovation and technological achievement.

nouvelle lentille de contact safilens 2009

logo_safilens

SAFE GEL TORIC 1 DAY

QUALITY AND COMFORT FOR PERFECT VISION

After the incredible success of Safegel 1 Day and  Safegel 7 Days, Sàfilens is set to conquer the market with the new Safegel 1 day Toric, studied exclusively for patients suffering from astigmatism.

Wearing contact lenses has become an increasingly more frequent practice, often owing to the demands of modern life. Using contact lenses which are comfortable and safe at the same time is also not as straightforward as one might think.

Insufficient tear film – or an alteration in the tear film quality – represents, as is well-known, the most common pathologies and causes of discomfort during contact lens wear. For this reason, Sàfilens has studied and created a revolutionary new material, the natural bipolymer Hyaluronate-Gel which, in the two versions, Safe Gel 7 Days and Safe Gel 1 Day, helps maintain and renew the volume of mucin in the tear film, guaranteeing comfort and wellbeing for all those who wear them.

Sàfilens’ products are the result of 30 years’ experience in the field of research and product innovation which has brought the company to a point where it is able to develop a tailor-made service for its clients and respond completely to all their requirements. With this in mind, Sàfilens has further segmented its offering in the contact lens sector by producing Safe Gel 1 day Toric: a lens for all those who have astigmatism.

Safe-Gel Toric contact lenses are the only lenses in their offering which offer  6 axes with 2 cylinders for excellent visual performance produced by the “Anatomic Slab-off” stabilisation system with reduced thickness. A quality which combines with the comfort  given by the lens and released by the natural bipolymer HYALURONATE-GEL which keeps the tear film intact, protecting the eye from dryness.

Furthermore, the excellent oxygenation that the Sàfilens lenses guarantee, along with the daily replacement, permits use of the lenses for prolonged periods of

time.

This product now being offered by Sàfilens unveils a new way of wearing contact lenses which is particularly interesting for contact lens wearers of 30 to 40 years old – the age group which is particularly susceptible to the first visual problems related to a reduction in the tear film – who show symptoms of intolerance. In this sense, Safe Gel can be described as a true anti-ageing product that can preserve visual wellbeing, limiting dramatically the symptoms of dry eyes related to environmental conditions (wind, light, smoke, and dry air), situations of particular visual stress (video terminals, driving, reading, intense visual work) and frequent use of ordinary contact lenses.

nouvelle collection de lunettes spring by Eye'Dc 2009

logo_idc

SPRING

V645 - 646 - 647 - 648

V745 - 746 - 747

SPRING

V645 - 646 - 647 - 648

V745 - 746 - 747

Our designers have developed a unique hinge system: Titalug.

It reacts like a spring, with a metallic element that never forgets its original shape. So the “elastic” temples bounce back to their initial open position.

This flexible endpiece is the last word in comfort for the wearer. Available in two versions, with a stainless steel or acetate front, each model is a perfect match for all faces.

A nifty little metal hook on the front of the endpiece is a smart set-up for the clip-on sunglasses supplied with each frame.
